This weekend, (most of) my family will be walking to help raise money for Autism research in DC on October 20th. This cause means a lot to our family. As most of you know, Madison was diagnosed last year with Autism. Our hope is to raise money and awareness about the disease. Please join our team "Madison's Super Diva's" and walk with us or donate some money to the cause! Go to register, then join a team. If you have any questions just ask!

-Leukemia affects 1 in 25,000/funding: $310 million
-Muscular Dystrophy affects 1 in 20,000/funding: $175 million
-Pediatric AIDS affects 1 in 8,000/funding:$394 million
-Juvenile Diabetes affects 1 in 500/funding:$130 million
-Autism affects 1 n 150/funding:$15 million

I think you're all f**ked in the head. We're ten hours from the f**king fun park and you want to bail out? Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer a vacation. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun. We're all gonna have so much f**king fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of you're a**holes! I gotta be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose. Praise Marty Moose! Holy S**t!
that movie will always make me laugh!
its been awhile, but nothing has been going on. it feels like for once in a long time, when someone asks me "so what have you been up to?" and i reply with "nothing, really," i'm being 100% honest. last night i cleaned out my room, getting rid of shirts i never wear, work clothes i never will wear again, and winter clothes. i ended up with 3 trash bags for storage and 3 trash bags for donation. i want to find a house of ruth or something similar because 2 of the bags are old dresses and skirts and pants. hopefully someone somewhere will get use out of them, but getting all those clothes out of my room felt cathartic.

I've been finishing up school - halfway through my last paper which isn't due until next week but I want to get it done by Friday
My brother Danny had a huge picture in this Sunday's Washington Post Arts section for a play he's doing: for boston!
i've been riding my bike more and enjoying sealab 2021.
i picked up my car saturday, spending $800 on repairs after not having it for a month and then sunday i realize that its overheating and the fan is dead (which is completely unrelated to my initial repairs). so currently i'm without a car because i need to get that fixed. hopefully soon because we're going tubing this weekend!
we played a show last night at the space, it was sweltering, but it's always fun to play.
i miss katie...portland looks so beautiful.

- making dinner & mad max with sonny
- going out with some of his friends & getting to catch up with people i never see because I'm a total hermit
- incredibly lazy saturday with more mad max and naps
- $10 in the jukebox, a burrito, and watching tv poker with sonny who's just learning (& making me in turn feel like a pro)
- great show on saturday, saw lots of people
- "researching" icp culture till 2am and being completely dumbfounded
- meeting two new hilarious people
- chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter butter
- continuing said research at water hole
- the fallopian tubes, our all-female tubing gang, and staying in the water for 5 hours+
- fathers day cupcakes!

i'm stuck in such a rut right now, i've literally read the first 4 harry potter books in the last three days, along with stuff from school. i literally go home and read until i fall asleep. :) literally.

so i thought i'd copy and paste a list i made on why i love sonny...
- he's got more faith in humanity than anyone i've ever met.
- never says mean words about anyone (well, very very rarely)
- i would trust him with my life - i have never been worried about the possibility of cheating or deceitfulness
- makes me laugh all the time
- makes me think all the time
- he questions everything, yet has this unwavering faith
- oh man, his smile
- handsome!
- encourages me to take chances and love myself
- he is never self-conscious, EVER! and i find that incredibly endearing and inspiring
- he looks at the world through these little kid "i love the world and everyone in it" glasses
- he listens to Slayer and reads the Bible - teaches Sunday school in Kreator shirts (even though i might not believe in God, i find it great that he makes no apologies for who he is and is that same person anywhere and with anyone)
- he's talented
- he never ever judges.
- he is one of the most empathetic people i know
- he is honest (very very honest, sometimes to a fault, an exgirlfriend almost broke up with him when she asked him "do these pants make me look fat?" he said he was chasing her through the mall exclaiming, "YOU'RE not fat, but those pants make you look fat" needless to say, if i can't take the truth, i won't ask the question (like those little "do you think she's pretty" games some of us play :)
- he will truly give anyone who needed it the shirt off his back on the coldest day of the year.
- he loves ladies nights
- he loves children more than i do (he will color with my niece all sunday evening and have a ball )
- i could talk to him for hours while just staring at the sky

People ask me all the time, who is this lucky girl and the fact of the matter is it’s not about anybody. It’s about me picturing all this in my head and writing it down and picturing something romantic about it but there isn’t anybody in my life who I’m going to come back rushing for, much as I wish that there was.

i just looked at weather.com and the average temperature for the following month is expected to be 77 degrees. this comes as great news because i desperately hope it will pull me out of this funk i've been in for the last couple of months. I don't know what's wrong with me, its like i can't pull my head out of the sand. bike rides and fresh air should help. though i did take milo to the park yesterday and ended up with a pretty red and itchy sunburn.
